Parenting Coordination & Coaching

Lauren is a certified parenting coordinator. Parenting coordinators are appointed by the courts. She also provides more informal coaching to families and co-parents to resolve specific issues and coach around optimal co-parenting.

Psychological Evaluation

Psychological evaluations and parenting capacity evaluations are available for adults. These evaluations are designed to determine an individual’s capacity to parent in a physically and emotionally safe manner and identify pathways to healthy parenting.

Child Safety Evaluation

This evaluation is designed to evaluate specific concerns for safety for a child, including possible issues of abuse and neglect. It also serves to identify recommendations to mitigate risk and promote the child’s safety.

Guardian ad Litem

A Guardian ad Litem is appointed in certain civil court custody disputes. Their role is to conduct interviews and investigations to better understand the needs of the child or children involved, and to use their findings to make recommendations to the judge.

Expert Consultation & Testimony

This consultation is for professionals involved with families who may need guidance in reviewing a case or clarifying dynamics that need to be explored. Lauren has testified as an expert in hundreds of trials in federal, superior, civil, and district court.

Therapy

Therapy services include issues of separation and divorce, grief and loss, and the adjustment of changing family dynamics. Lauren uses CBT and solution-focused therapy with a particular eye on navigating the trauma of divorce or co-parenting.
